Jukebox Musical Begins Three-Night Run on Friday

Local actors will stage three performances of "Leader of the Pack" at Crawford Park Mansion this weekend.

A cast of actors and vocalists from Port Chester will transport audiences back to the 1960s this weekend, with a three-night run of the musical Leader of the Pack.

Although the production is considered a "jukebox musical," it predates the term. But it's in good company -- think Jersey Boys or Saturday Night Fever, with a narrative structure similar to films like That Thing You Do.

This production of Leader of the Pack is presented by the Port Chester Council for the Arts and Pennywise Productions. The cast is almost entirely comprised of actors from Port Chester, with additional players from Rye Brook and Harrison rounding it out.
