UMASS Marching Band Visits Port Chester

The UMASS Minutemen band will be rehearsing on the Port Chester High School field from 9 to 11 a.m. They are traveling from a Saturday afternoon football game in Massachusetts to a collegiate marching band festival in Allentown, PA, on Sunday, and stayed overnight Saturday in the PCHS gym.

This morning, they will practice on the field as well as tutor the members of the PCHS marching band.

If you miss the UMASS Minutemen today, you'll see them again in November. Under the direction of director Timothy Todd Anderson and associate director Thomas P. Hannum, the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band will be traveling to New York City to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
