Interested in joining a jobs roundtable in Fairfield County CT on creative jobs Nov 2 or Nov 17?

As we have all watched the beginning of an economic reinvention in Connecticut, we wonder: Why isn’t Fairfield County better associated with the marketing services industry, which has been one of the mainstays of our local economy? In our roundtable discussion, we want to explore the following topics:

  • What could the businesses, marketers, vendors, entrepreneurs, freelancers and agencies, as well as the in-house teams at the largest marketers in the region, do to bring more service revenue into the county and to keep more fees in our special creative corridor?
  • What can the creative businesses do to put their best spin on our contribution to economic development, to the local economy—and to our personal economy?

We’d like to open up a discussion with top working professionals, including commuters who live in the area but are not currently employed in Fairfield County.

Karina Meckel, an honoree on PRWeek’s latest “40 Under 40” list and the head of strategic planning at Euro RSCG Worldwide PR, will join Marian Salzman, CEO, @erwwpr, and president, Fairfield Public Relations Association, to moderate the groups, which will be freeform and fun.

Dates/Times/Locations:
Nov. 2, 2011; 3:30, 5:00, 6:30; 8 Sound Shore Drive (an Ashforth Building), Greenwich (Cos Cob train station)

Nov. 17, 2011; 12:15, 3:00, 5:00; Euro RSCG Worldwide, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton (across from Wilton High School)
