Christian Youth Theater New York City (CYT NYC) will offer 2 upcoming FREE Musical Theater Workshops/ Parent Information Meetings:

Dates:         Saturday, August 25 AND Saturday, September 8
Time:          10:30 am - Noon
Location:    CAP21 Studios (18 W 18th St, 6th Fl)
Ages:          6-18

Parents will learn more about CYT while kids learn a high energy, Broadway-style musical production number!

Christian Youth Theater (CYT) started in 1981 in San Diego and has grown to become the largest youth theater in the nation!  CYT offers training in the arts for students ages 6-18 through classes, shows, and summer camps.  Students registered in a fall CYT class will be eligible to audition for our fall musical, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, which will perform in an Off-Broadway theatre in January 2013!  CYT is dedicated to developing character in children and adults through training in the arts and by producing wholesome family entertainment, all of which reflect Judeo-Christian values.

First, our property values are not as strong as our neighbors, so our homes have a higher levy in order to fund the schools. Second, and more important, is that the reliance on property taxes slams moderate income communities like PC. We need for the state to move to an income tax to fund schools. Scream at your legislators ... not the BoE.
