Empty Bowls Pre-Fundraising Event: Make a Bowl for a Good Cause

In preparation for it's annual Empty Bowls fundraiser, The Clay Art Center in Port Chester invites everyone to donate their time to help make ceramic bowls for the event. Empty Bowls is a national organization that raises awareness about issues of hunger.

The Empty Bowls fundraiser will take place on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. at  Rye Presbyterian Church, located at 882 Boston Post Road in Rye. Soups and breads from The Kneaded Bread bakery in Port Chester will be donated for the event. Guests will receive a bowl of soup and bread in exchange for a donation. All proceeds from Empty Bowls will benefit local soup kitchens.
