Blues Duo Coming to Port Chester

The Port Chester Council for the Arts Presents Mulebone in Concert.

The Port Chester Council for the Arts announces a concert later this month featuring the bluesy talents of one of Port Chester's own:

The Port Chester Council for the Arts continues its 30th Anniversary Artist Series with a concert by the roots blues duo Mulebone, on November 18 at 8 PM at Crawford Park Mansion, North Ridge St., Rye Brook, NY.

Tickets are $20 and can be reserved by calling the PCCFA office at 914-939-3183
or emailing PortChesterCFA@gmail.com.

Mulebone features Port Chester native and multi-instrumentalist John Ragusa
and roots music specialist Hugh Pool. They perform slide guitar boogies, one-
chord trance riffs a la Howlin Wolf, the up-tempo rags of Reverend Gary Davis and country blues of all shapes and colors. In Mulebone, Ragusa plays conch shell, Jews harp, cornet, all manner of flutes, tin whistle and chimes in on the harmony vocals. Pool plays guitars, harmonica, boot board and sings.
