If you are a fan of “True Blood,” then you may have seen someone you wanted to sink your teeth into at on Monday.
The HBO series’ hottest star—Alexander Skarsgard, who plays the tall blonde and handsome vampire Eric Northman—was seen filming his latest movie “Disconnect,” at dry cleaners located at 615 N. Broadway in North White Plains.
The North Castle Clerk’s office confirmed that they approved a film permit for the production to shoot from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday.
According to Lucia Sorio, a North Broadway resident, her street was crowded all day with film crews—though she didn’t find out what was going on until she went to pick up her dry cleaning.
“It is not until I got inside the store that one of the guys who works there told me ‘before you ask what is going on let me tell you, we are in the middle of shooting a movie,’” said Sorio.
Sorio was then told that one of the actors from the series “True Blood,” was about to get close to the counter, and to act like nothing was going on.
“And there he was,” said Sorio. “An awesomely hot tall blonde guy.”
According to IMDb.com, the film is set to be released in 2012, is directed by Henry Alex Rubin and also stars Jason Bateman of the television sitcom “Arrested Development,” and Paul Patton who was in the film “Precious.”
According to a letter from the production’s assistant location manager, the film “tells three interconnecting stories of life in an Internet focused world, and explores how we are more often connected to and affected by online relationships than with the people who are physically in our lives.” Click on the PDF to read the permit application letter.
LoHud.com reported that additional scenes will be shot in Yonkers, and that Skarsgard plays a former Marine who is having an affair in the film.
