Tree Lighting Postponed to Thursday Due to Weather
With rain on the forecast, organizers have pushed the tree-lighting and Santa appearance back one day.
The kids will have to wait an extra day for Santa.
Wednesday's forecast predicts a 90 percent chance of rain, with heavy clouds and showers expected throughout the afternoon and early evening.
That's prompted Port Chester's Recreation Department to push the annual tree-lighting ceremony back a day.

The event is now scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the waterfront marina.
