Sunny Skies on the Sound Shore

The Sound Shore will be covered in sun all week long according to the National Weather Service. There may be some thunderstorms Thursday afternoon but the sun is expected back out again on Friday.  

Here is the forecast for the rest of the week:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 8 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind 5 to 8 mph.

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 81.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.
