The Volunteer Center and Family Services of Westchester are seeking volunteers to help sort and package clothing in The Sharing Shelf warehouse on January 18th.
Community members donate new and gently used clothing and the volunteers will sort them by season and style.
When there is a need, seven outfits are created and put into one package so the recipient has a week’s worth of clothes to wear, Many different nonprofits utilize The Sharing Shelf for their clients, who are children in need in our community.
This is a family –friend project for children 12 and over.
