Port Chester's Carver Center's Day of Service


Port Chester’s Carver Center will be facilitating its “ I Have a Dream Collage” along with The Volunteer Center of United Way, on Saturday, January 18th at 11 am at the Carver Center at 400 Westchester Avenue in Port Chester, NY.

  

Alisa Kesten, executive director of The Volunteer Center of United Way, joins 20 teens at Port Chester's Carver Center for a MLK Day of Service project to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior. The teens will listen to Dr. King's famous speech and then create a large "I Have a Dream" collage that illustrates their dreams for the community.

The Volunteer Center of United Way sponsors this event; The Day of Service is an opportunity for individuals and families to pay tribute to Dr. King. By giving back and making an impact in the local communities.
