Irene came and went. Here's the outcome.
From downed trees to flooding at the waterfront, Port Chester felt the impact from Hurricane Irene, but escaped largely unscathed compared to some neighboring communities.
Nearby Rye, with a more exposed waterfront and a natural waterway meandering through, was flooded in several spots.
