Children joined three beach-ready toddler-sized LEGO figures and Master Model Builder David Howard to build LEGO sandcastles at the Rye Playland Boardwalk Thursday. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester offered the free LEGO sand castle class to celebrate the opening of a temporary LEGO beach installation in LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester’s MINILAND, which went on display Thursday, August 1 and will be showcased through Labor Day Weekend.
“We all had a great time today at the beach building LEGO sandcastles,” said LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester Master Model Builder David Howard. “It is always inspiring to see kids using their imagination and discovering what they can create with LEGO bricks.”
