Hat Trick: Lottery Reveals 3rd PC Millionaire This Year

Marilyn Garcia-John, a bank teller from Port Chester, won a $1 million prize in a scratch-off game.

Marilyn Garcia-John of Port Chester is the third big from the village this year after cashing in on a $1 million scratch-off prize.

Garcia-John, a bank taller, bought her winning ticket at Port Chester Mini Mart on Westchester Avenue.

The Port Chester woman will receive annual payouts of $33,015 after taxes for the next 20 years.

She told lottery officials she has no extravagant plans, but will use the prize money to pay college tuiton for her kids and help her community.

“I’ve been thinking about what to do with the prize,” Garcia-John said. “I know some will go to my church and some will toward college for my boys. The rest will go in the bank for now.”
