Harlem Shake: Port Chester Style

Port Chester CrossFit, Port Chester High School students add their takes on music video to YouTube.

It seems like everyone is uploading videos of their interpretation of the frenetic dance to YouTube, and Port Chester is no exception.

Students at Port Chester High School have done their versions of the dance craze, and this weekend members of CrossFit Port Chester got together at the gym to make a Harlem Shake video.

In all, there are more than 200,000 Harlem Shake videos on YouTube. They all begin the same way. As one person in a mask or helmet dances to the song of the same name, everyone else seems oblivious to what is taking place. But once the song commands everyone to "do the Harlem Shake," the video cuts to a large group of people in masks or costumes dancing wildly.
