Give Back: Raise Money for Carver Center by Shopping Online

Shopping at any one of 400 online storefronts can earn the Carver Center up to 15 percent of what you spend.

With the holiday season ahead and more people avoiding malls in favor of online shopping, Port Chester residents can help support one of the village's most vital charities with the click of a mouse.

The now participates in the Give Back program, an online portal that allows people to shop and benefit their favorite charities at the same time.

By clicking a widget at the bottom of the Carver Center's homepage, supporters can shop at 400 online retailers while a percentage of each purchase goes to the community center.

The online retailers include big names like K-Mart, Circuit City and Estee Lauder, as well as direct online merchants for things like wine, flowers, books, movies and more.

As the Give Page site notes, "Small donations add up." With online receipts setting records every holiday season, shopping online can do a lot of good for places like the Carver Center.
