Get Your Groove On At Carver Center Dance Camp
From ballet to hip hop, the camp will cover a wide range of traditional and modern dance styles for kids.
If TV, Hollywood and Youtube are to be believed, today's kids need serious grooves in reserve, just in case they get challenged to an impromptu dance battle while walking down the street.
Lucky for Port Chester kids, the Carver Center is here to help.
Carver will hold a one-week dance camp from Aug. 22 to 26, teaching kids dance moves in genres ranging from hip hop, jazz, contemporary and ballet.

Campers get to cool off at the end of each session with a swim in the center's indoor pool, and camp will wrap up with a short performance featuring campers showing off their new moves.
The camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of six and 12. Camp fees are $100 for the week-long camp, or $120 for the camp and extended care until 3 p.m. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
