Get Your Dodgeball On to Raise Money for PC Youth Baseball

More than a dozen teams are expected to show up for the Friday night fund-raiser.

Work up a sweat, target your friends and do your best Vince Vaughn impersonation -- all for a good cause.

More than a dozen teams are expected to head to a showdown at Port Chester Middle School this Friday for the 6th Annual Dodgeball Tournament to benefit Port Chester's Youth Baseball League.

While the proceeds will go to youngsters, the Jan. 27 event is strictly for adult competitors, age 18 and older. In past years the tournament has drawn loud spectators; it's sponsored by local watering hole , and features food and a 50/50 raffle, in addition to dodgeball bragging rights.

Teams should be comprised of eight players who are ready to play at least three dodgeball matches. The registration fee is $240 per team, and includes team shirts for your squad. (You get to name your team on the registration form.)

The tournament starts at 6 p.m.
