Fraternal Group Helps Port Chester Scouts See '42'

Troop 400 members learn about baseball great Jackie Robinson

Members of Port Chester Boy Scout Troop 400 got to learn about baseball legend Jackie Robinson over the weekend with the help of a fraternal group that paid for them to see a showing of the new movie "42."

Port Chester resident John Reavis invited the troop to see the movie at the AMC Theater in Port Chester.  The visit was sponsored by Reavis' college fraternal organization, Beta Alpha Alpha.

"42" is the story of Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play in American Major League Baseball, focusing on the two years of his life after he entered the game in 1947.
