NAACP – Port Chester/Rye will hold its Third Annual Freedom Fund Luncheon, Saturday, Oct 20 at Copacabana Restaurant at 12:00pm.
The Robet S. Brown/M. Paul Redd Freedom Fund Luncheon was named for one of the founders of the Carver Center, the historically black community center in Port Chester and the former publisher of the Westchester County Press and community activist, who resided in Rye. It is an opportunity to recognize community leaders who have contributed so much of their time and effort not just for the benefit of the Village of Port Chester, but to the community at large.
Tickets to the event are $60 per person in advance or $65 per person at the door. For more information or to order tickets contact Doris Reavis at 914-937-6613.
