Easter Party at Port Chester's Lyon Park [PHOTOS]

Hundreds of children come out to meet the Easter Bunny.

Hundreds of young children came to Lyon Park in Port Chester to meet the Easter Bunny Saturday morning as the Port Chester Recreation Department hosted their annual Easter in the Park.

Children got to take a picture with the Easter Bunny and also played several skill games for prizes.

In regards to your other comments, I urge you to give it a little time to get used to. The little bell at the top right of the page has a red circle with a number in it to tell you that someone has commented or interacted with something you have done so you should be able to go there and see exactly what is going on in the places where you posted. Linda T., I would guess Mrs. Brakewood lives in Port Chester if she is running for the Port Chester…Read More Board of Ed. Even if the schools had to impose an austerity budget, your taxes would still go up. The state has more control in these matters than you think.

Linda, the per pupil expenditure in PC schools is the lowest in Westchester and Rockland counties…Read More ... by about $2,000 per student. The issue is two fold. First, our property values are not as strong as our neighbors, so our homes have a higher levy in order to fund the schools. Second, and more important, is that the reliance on property taxes slams moderate income communities like PC. We need for the state to move to an income tax to fund schools. Scream at your legislators ... not the BoE.
