Easter and Passover Services Offered This Weekend

Looking to attend a Good Friday, Easter, or Passover Shabbat this weekend? Read our Patch guide to local religious services.

For many folks in town, this coming Friday is the kick-off to a holiday weekend filled with family and religious appreciation. Check below for local Church masses, egg hunts and Passover worships.

Easter

Corpus Christi Church, Port Chester

  • Friday, April 22: Good Friday prayer service at 8am, 3pm, 7:30pm
  • Saturday, April 23: Easter Vigil at 8pm
  • Easter Sunday, April 24: Easter Masses at 7:30am, 11am, and 12:30pm

All Souls Parish, The Presbyterian Church, Port Chester

  • Friday, April 22: Good Friday service at 12pm
  • Saturday, April 23: Holy Saturday Vigil Service at 5:30pm
  • Easter Sunday, April 24: 10am Easter Sunday service, followed by brunch in Fellowship Hall, then an Easter egg hunt and release of butterflies at 1pm

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Rye Brook

  • Friday, April 22: Good Friday Masses at 11:30am and 7pm
  • Easter Sunday, April 24: Easter Vigil at 7am followed by a Breakfast. Worship at 9:45 will then finish with an Egg Hunt

  • Saturday, April 23: Holy Saturday Vigil 7:30. There will also be no usual Saturday night mass at 5:30pm.
  • Easter Sunday, April 24: Easter Mass at 8, 9, and 10:30am with last at 12noon

Passover

Congregation Kneses Tifereth Israel, Port Chester

  • Friday, April 22: Friday evening candle lighting at 7:25pm
  • Saturday, April 23: Shabbat Hol Hamoed Passover Services, 9:30am
  • Sunday, April 24: Hol Hamoed Passover, Sunday morning Minyan at 8:30am. Candle lighting also at 7:27pm.

Community Synagogue, Rye

  • Friday, April 22: Shabbat Shira Musical Service at 7:45pm, Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:15pm
  • Saturday, April 23: Torah Service at 8:45am
  • Monday, April 25: Festival and Yizkor at 10am
