Do you need help feeding your pet(s) or maybe you know someone that would benefit from our services? STARelief and Pet Assistance mission is to "Keep Pets - Happy, Healthy & Home" and prevent pets from being surrender to animal shelters due to cost - We offer a fully stocked pet food pantry that provides free pet food (cat or dog), treats, towels, flea/tick medication leashes/collars, beds, shampoo etc to individuals or families struggling with financial difficulty. The areas we cover are Fairfield County, Westchester County and some parts of New Haven County (as long as client can meet us in Bridgeport, CT). **In order to receive these benefits your animal must be spayed or neutered OR you need to be willing to spay or neuter your animal (if your animal is not fixed, we can help you you get low cost surgery), we require a brief application to be completed and signed, a copy of a current driver's license or state identification card and also a copy of at least one of the following documents: Unemployment Benefits, Welfare, State Medical, Social Security, Disability, Food Stamps, Section 8 voucher**
