Port Chester Man Arrested after Domestic Violence Investigation

Police: Woman grabbed by neck, put in headlock.

A Port Chester man was charged with attempted assault after an incident in which he is accused of attacking his wife at their Haseco Avenue home, according to Port Chester Police.

Village officers investigated a 10:51 p.m. incident on Wednesday at 118 Haseco Ave., where they found Lester Son, 29, in front of his home. Police said that, at the time, Son was highly intoxicated.

Inside the home, a 24-year-old woman who identified Son as her husband told police that Son had grabbed her by the face and neck and then put her in a headlock. Police said the woman did not require medical attention although the incident left visible marks.

Son faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
