Nightclub Set To Open In Port Chester
"Glamour" is set to open at 114 N. Main St., the site of the former Fantasy nightclub.
A new Port Chester nightclub could open its doors within a few weeks.
Glamour Nightclub "is going to be the best nightclub at Port Chester," according to the club's Facebook page, which features photos of a revamped exterior and an empty interior.
The page also features several messages soliciting "experienced bartenders" and bouncers.
The club's owner, Ingrid Martinez of White Plains, applied for a liquor license on Jan. 24, according to the New York State Liquor Authority.
The new club will occupy the long-vacant space formerly belonging to Fantasy, at 114. N Main St.

That's What Port Chester is full of. What a shame? Like we don't have enough drunks around town.

So is this a strip club or a dance club?

From everything I am reading and seeing lately, is there a difference?

From my days of clubbing which is not far back, yes there was a difference. From the FB page looks like to me your ordinary dance club or for the the more seasoned posters here aka as a "disco". I must say though the name "Glamour Night Club" does make it sound like a T&A bar for "gentlemen".

It'll be a dance club, but most likely will turn out to be another Ficha bar.

the only way to make the point is to right from the get go make sure they have t's crossed and I's dotted. Surprise inspections and PCPD making an effort to be around the area and look and more important document what is going on in the area - if they know PC means business and zero tollerence for breaking laws it is a healthy start

The Village Board must act. This is unacceptable. Every bar, nightclub or anything with an occupancy level above some threshold in the downtown should be required by the Village to have a Public Hearing. How this went through the Village process without Public input is unacceptable.

Port Chester used to be a thriving scene of outstanding and excellent music. The Beat, 7 Willow Street, Marty's. Well that was back in the day when people actually appreciated live music and went out to see it and enjoy it. I'm glad I got to be a part of it. What P.C. really good use is a classy and intimate night club that premiers nothing but great live music from both national touring acts and local/regional musicians. THe region is so starved for a club like that that you won't even need a liquor license to get people in the door. If you build it they will come.

We cannot assume that this place is going to be another low class place let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. Marti’s for instance was not the greatest place but it was accepted by the community of port Chester so why not wait and see. On the other hand this establishment is bringing another income to the town and more jobs isn’t this what we want to help the economy of the country
