"Almost, Maine" A Crowd-Pleaser In Port Chester

Two-night performance at Port Chester Senior Center was sponsored by Port Chester Council for the Arts.

The was turned into a small town in Maine on Friday and Saturday nights for the production of "" — sponsored by the .

“Almost, Maine” was written by John Cariani and was directed by Carin Zakes Green. The show was presented as part of the PCCFA’s 30th Anniversary Artist Series.

The show reunited the director, cast and crew from a previously produced, sold-out three-weekend run at Connecticut’s Darien Arts Center in March 2011.

The PCCA's Ann Peterson said the show "went beautifully" and pleased members of the organization. She noted the production at the senior center was made possible by the Port Chester Village Board's decision to waive fees for use of the space for the show.
